Meditation

Meditation is not about thinking deep thoughts. It is not about stopping the mind. It is not hard. It does not involve hardening the eyes, the face, or the jaw. It is not about doing stuff.

These are some of the topics we cover over the course of our work together.

Meditation instruction is offered as a series of private sessions. Occasionally, a series of group classes is offered.

You explore and experience various sitting and meditation techniques in a safe environment. Setting aside an hour each week for quiet reflection using simple meditation techniques can produce a calm, relaxed state characterized by mental clarity and focus.

Ultimately, you will find the technique that suits you best, and you will be able to take it home and use it daily with confidence and calm.
